Gift Voucher Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms” govern the purchase, use and redemption of gift vouchers or gift cards issued by Major R Owen Ltd. By purchasing a gift voucher/gift card, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before use.
Purchase and Activation
Gift vouchers can be purchased directly from Major R Owen Ltd at our premises or online.
Payment for our vouchers must be made in full at the time of purchase.
Vouchers are activated upon full payment and are valid for immediate use, unless otherwise stated.
Proof of purchase may be required to confirm validity.
Voucher Redemption and Use
They may only be redeemed towards the purchase of eligible products on our website or at our showroom.
Vouchers can not be exchanged for cash, used to purchase other vouchers, or used to pay credit accounts.
No change will be given for purchases less than the voucher value, any remaining balance will stay on the voucher until expiry.
Where purchases exceed the voucher value, the balance must be paid using accepted payment methods.
Validity and Expiry
Gift vouchers are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
After the expiry date, any remaining balance will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or used.
Expired vouchers will not be reinstated.
Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for gift voucher pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the Gift Voucher or the purchase in store.
To the fullest extent of the law, Major R Owen Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of a voucher.
Nothing within these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Lost, stolen or damaged vouchers will not be replaced or refunded, treat them with care.
We are not responsible for unauthorized use of any voucher once issued.
If you suspect unauthorized use, please contact us immediately.
Refunds & Cancellations
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once purchased, except as required under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013.
Refunds for goods or services purchased with a voucher will be credited back to a new voucher and not in cash.
Business Right to decline
We reserve the right to refuse to accept or to cancel a voucher if we believe it has been obtained fraudulently, duplicated or otherwise unlawfully obtained.
In such circumstances, we have no obligation to refund the balance.
We will have the right to close customer accounts and take payment from alternative methods if fraudulently obtained Gift Vouchers are redeemed, online or in store.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. The most current version will always be visible online.
Changes will not affect vouchers already purchased except where required by law.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
